Paul Russell MSc CBiol DipSM DipSC MHA Paul’s track record is impressive. Having gained an honours degree in Zoology & Comparative Physiology from London University he then gained a Masters degree in Applied Hydrobiology from the University of Wales, before pursuing his first career as a chartered marine biologist in the UK Water Industry. In 1992 he retrained as a hypnotherapist and stress management consultant with Lambourn Court, the UK's then leading hypnotherapy training school, gaining his diploma in 1993, one of a select few to pass with distinction. He subsequently gained his diploma in Advanced Hypnotherapy, again with distinction. During his 17 years of professional practice, Paul has successfully treated many thousands of clients with a diverse range of presenting problems, from helping people to stop smoking, to overcome stress and anxiety to more challenging issues surrounding abuse and depression. It is his popular weight control programme, however, which attracts an increasing number of clients every week. Although he is highly qualified and experienced to help people with a wide range of problems, he specialises in hypnotherapy for weight control, assisting those who have made the final decision to leave yo-yo dieting behind and to seek more long lasting ways to achieve and maintain their weight loss goals. Paul keeps up to date with worldwide techniques in order to remain always at the cutting edge of therapeutic procedure, and is a regular contributor of articles to industry publications and the wider press. He is a full member of the Hypnotherapy Association and is listed on the UK Hypnotherapy Register. He is a Chartered Biologist and a full member of the Society of Biology. Paul lives in the historic cathedral city of Lichfield, is married with 2 children, tries to play golf and has a keen interest in landscape photography. The Hypnotherapy Association The Hypnotherapy Association is a non-profit making organisation and is a leading independent professional body in the UK representing approved hypnotherapists in active practice. Members have satisfied an examination board as to their knowledge and competence of therapeutic hypnosis. Members of the Association are bound by a strict Code of Ethics of the highest order, to provide help and treatment with a diligent Duty of Care, to maintain strict confidentiality before and after treatment and must hold full Public and Professional Liability Insurance. |
